I'm a huge fan of the series Sex and the City. I was a faithful viewer of every Sunday night episode. I felt like I was sitting there with the girls having lunch. Season 5 Carrie meets Jack Berger. To me there were warning flags that he wasn't all she made him out to be.

February 14th marks the day of love. For it's Valentine's Day! No matter what story you choose to believe in on how Valentine's day was started there are two things for certain. Candy stores will be packed with husbands buying their wives boxes of chocolates and card shops will be selling out of sweet little massed produced love notes.

I personally have never been a big fan of Valentine's day. I feel it's an unfair day for the thousands of people who don't have loved ones in their lives. So for the single people, let the day not be about who loves you but let it be about the love for yourself. Go buy yourself a box of chocolates, a necklace or a watch and celebrate the love you have for you! ;)

Do you remember when the only stress we had during Christmas was if we were on that naughty or nice list? Our parents had us write a letter to Santa and we wrote that Christmas list. We were allowed to dream big in hopes that we were good enough all year so Santa would bring us at least one item on that list. For today, lets erase the stress that the holidays bring us as adults. Let's go back to our childhood and write 'Santa' a top ten list!

Today I saw a total of six or seven different holiday commercials. Many will even say that the holiday season is upon us. I would have to agree, I don't have my house decorated for Christmas and won't until the Friday after Thanksgiving but now is the time that society pushes us into the holiday season. The stores are already decorated, the TV is filled with Christmas commercials and soon they will start airing Christmas movies. So from now until after the New Year, Thursday's Top Ten will be all about the holidays!

Halloween is upon us and in just a few days many of us will have little ghost and goblins knocking at our door screaming those very famous words, "Trick or Treat!" We act scared at that the scary ones, smile at the cute ones and adore the infants dressed in those adorable little bear costumes that their parents dressed them in. We drop all kinds of candy in their bags even though we know that the majority of it is going to mom and dad. We don't mind because that's what the holiday is all about.
